about

An improvised foundational piece that I did on fretless guitar with looping and effects. I sent it to Peter to add to and as he echo'd tried and tried but couldn't penetrate it and in the end felt it should be me solo. I argued a bit as my feeling about this record was a 'duo', I suggested some found effects that we experimented with but in the end I gave in and went with it. I will say it's echoing certainly our longer than normal NY winter and probably Peter's typical winter. The plurality is from an old English folk song that I think was by the same name that always stuck with me. If you listen you can hear the winds which in a way are Peter walking through the snow back to the house.
